Nose surgery most popular in Armenia

In Armenia, people undergo plastic surgery not because they try to
look like their idols, President of the Armenian Association of
Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, Armen Hovhannisyan
told a news conference.
In our country, the plastic surgeries date back to the 1970s. So far,
nose surgery has been most popular plastic surgery procedure in
Armenia, with a broad age and sex range, the plastic surgeons told
reporters.
In recent years a large number of men get ear, wrinkle smoothing,
abdominal liposuction surgeries, according to plastic surgeon Gnel
Ananyan.
Plastic surgery aims to restore health and beauty, the surgeon said,
nevertheless, there are certain restrictions placed on who can undergo
this procedure, and people suffering from cardiovascular diseases,
diabetes, skin problems, and those with bad blood coagulability are
warned against getting plastic surgery.
