ARMENIAN WRESTLERS WIN GOLD, TWO SILVER AND THREE BRONZE MEDALS

Armenia
The Armenian team won two silver and one bronze medals during the
last day of Cadet European Wrestling Championships held in Warsaw.
Armenian wrestlers Albert Vardanyan (46 kg) and Karen Aslanyan lost
to Azerbaijani sportsmen in the finals, whereas Armen Hakobyan (63 kg)
won bronze.
During the first day of the tournament Armenia~Rs Sargis Kocharyan
(69 kg) won gold defeating Russia~Rs Dmitry Kesopulo. Gevorg Gharibyan
(50 kg) and Karen Abgaryan (85 kg) gained bronze medals.
Armenia is ranked fourth in the standings preceded by Russia,
Azerbaijan and Georgia.
