Yerevan/Mediamax/. There is still much to be done in N6 music school
in Gyumri, rock singer and songwriter Serj Tankian said in reply to
Mediamax's question at the meeting with the Armenian public.
"We have contacted the organizers and found out that a single will
be released. We wanted to help this project in some way. We talked
to relevant people in the music sphere and discussed the issue of
sending some music instruments to the school, however this all is
still in progress due to some financial issues. There is still much
to be done in N6 music school in Gyumri," the rock singer said.
It should be noted that the project to rebuild N6 music school in
Gyumri, which was destroyed during the Spitak earthquake in 1988,
is coordinated by Mediamax, Australian "Do Something" organization
and Fund of Armenian Relief. Rock stars Ian Gillan and Tony Iommi
actively assist the project.
