FROM 2013 CASINOS IN ARMENIA WILL BE LOCATED ONLY IN JERMUK, SEVAN AND TSAKHKADZOR

the government of Armenia approved the decision on the requirements
and criteria set to the location of casinos and entities organizing
games of chance (including entities organizing online games of chance).
During today's session of the government Armenian Minister of Finance
Vache Gabrielyan said that in accord with the law "On entities
organizing games of chance and casino" which will come into force
since January 2013, a casino or an entity organizing games of chance
may open only in Tsakhkadzor, Jermuk and Sevan or nearby territories.
According to the decision, entities organizing games of chance
and casinos should be located 500 meters away from educational and
historical-cultural objects, governmental institutions and hospitals
and should be at least 250 square meters in size, whereas entities
organizing games of chance should have an area of at least 100
square meters.
