YEREVAN.- Ramkavar Azatakan Party will participate in parliamentary
elections to be held next May, said party's newly elected chairman
Harutyun Arakelyan.
"Monopoly in Armenia's economy is likely to enter politics as well,"
said Arakelyan stressing that the authorities and the main opposition
Armenian National Congress (ANC) most likely have predetermined
election results.
Therefore, it would be hard to run for parliamentary seats alone
that is the [political forces should cooperate, he told journalists
on Friday.
"We should put aside ambitions and concentrate on national idea,"
he added.
