Three suicide cases involving Armenian police officials in a week-newspaper

YEREVAN. - A young man committed a suicide in Armenia's Aragtsontn
village on August 15.
David Avetisyan, 25, an occupant of Kuchak village, hanged himself in
his house, Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper reports. Avetisyan's relatives
told villagers that, before committing suicide, David was talking to
someone on the phone. Later he left the house to answer the call and
after a while found him dead.
This is the third suicide involving Armenian law enforcement officials
in a week. As reported earlier, the prosecutor of Yerevan Kentron and
Nork-Marash administrative districts Aram Grigoryan committed suicide
on her mother's grave on Tuesday. A corpse of senior sergeant of
police Tonik Harutyunyan,was found in Yerevan's Botanical Garden on
August 18. According to preliminary information he committed a suicide
by overdosing.
