Talking to journalists following the Armenian government's
Aug. 25 sitting, Chief of Armenia's Police Alik Sargsyan said that
law-enforcers will do their best to solve the recently committed
crimes - armed robberies.
Armenia's Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan defined them as
"banditism."
General Alik Sargsyan assured the journalist that he is exercising
personal control over the investigation conducted by the best
detectives.
General Sargsyan also said that ex-policemen may be involved in the
crimes. "We have taken all this into account and will do our best to
stop them," A. Sargsyan said.
