Chief of Police of Armenia Alik Sargsyan dwelt on August 25 on the
regular assaults on the apartments of current and former officials.
Alik Sargsyan did not rule out former police officers from special
detachments participate in the assaults.
According to Alik Sargsyan, the bandits have such skills that create
grounds to think that they are former members of special detachments of
Police and other systems. According to the Police Chief, the bandits
try to avoid the errors usual criminals commit.
He agrees with the description of the Prosecutor General that we deal
with brigandage. He said he would like to assure the journalists the
cases will be revealed in short terms, because they are pregnant of
hard consequences.
