Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Permanent Mission in the UN called the
attention of UN Secretary- General Pan Gi Mun to the unprecedented
number of ceasefire violations on the contact line between the Nagorno
Karabakhi and Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
A letter was disseminated in the UN as an official document in reply to
the August 3 letter of Azerbaijani Permanent Mission, Mediamax reports.
The letter reads that Azerbaijan breaks the agreements on additional
efforts aimed to maintain the ceasefire regime and strengthen the
trust in the military sphere and reached at trilateral meetings
between Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents.
The Armenian Permanent Mission stressed that despite Azerbaijani
destructive stance, Armenia adheres to the position of exclusively
peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in accord with the
principles of international law.
