AZERBAIJANIS STABBED ARMENIANS IN ROSTOV-ON-DON

A mass conflict instigated by natives of Azerbaijan took place in
the center of Rostov-on-Don on Wednesday, reports Vesti North Caucasus.
According to Vesti.Az the victims appeared to be Armenians.
"Two Azerbaijani citizens, aged 22 and 25, being drunk, came to blows
with four natives of Armenia. According to witnesses and victims,
the conflict was of racial character," Azerbaijani source quotes
law enforcers.
Citizens of Azerbaijan stabbed Armenians who were later taken to
hospital with injuries. Later they reportedly fled the scene.
Law enforcers detained Azerbaijanis who are presently in custody.
Detainees refuse to answer questions, do not plead guilty, claiming
that they are citizens of Azerbaijan. They demand meeting with consul
of Azerbaijan or the head of local Azerbaijani diaspora.
