YEREVAN. - Only local eggs are used in the Armenian army, spokesperson
for Armenian MOD Davit Karapetyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He dismissed reports of the Agriculture Ministry saying imported eggs
are supplied to the army.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, Armenia imported about
1 million eggs from Ukraine over a month, said Deputy Agriculture
Minister Grisha Baghiyan. According to him, one of the poultry
factories is providing Armenian Defense Ministry. Rumors say "X group"
won tender for egg supplies to the Defense Ministry.
