Priest says 'Word of Life' is most dangerous sect in Armenia (video)
14:07 - 27.08.11
The most dangerous sect in Armenia is the "Word of Life" as they
include the wealthy and the representatives of show business, Priest
Yesai Artenyan has said.
In a press conference on Saturday, he said that their aggressiveness
and their use of equipment and technical effects to affect peoples'
minds are also important factors in assessing the capabilities of this
sect.
"I would not recommend people who are not ready to attend their
meetings, even for the sake of curiosity," said Priest Yesai Artenyan.
"Starting from the blue background of the screen, the simple sentences
written on the screen, audio and video effects: all the modern means
are being used to affect peoples' consciousness and
sub-consciousness," explained he.
Further, he said that during their meetings the choir sings from four
to five songs that have nothing to do with the musical art.
"During the pauses between the songs the choir murmurs something that
you can both hear and not hear: this is also a means to affect
[people]," said Artenyan.
"The 'Word of Life' has a wide network to recruit people. They target
wealthy families in Armenia, on representatives of show business,"
said he, adding that this sect is what he called an "aggressive body"
given its large financial capabilities.
