PanARMENIAN.Net - The latest developments in Arab states certainly
arouses Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev's concerns, an Armenian expert
said.
`Moammar Gadhafi's regime has been exemplary for Baku for a long time.
Copying the Gadhafi style, Aliyev has almost destroyed the opposition
in his country. Tiny rallies organized by Musavat opposition party
can't change anything,' Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan told a news
conference in Yerevan.
According to him, not political but a religious revolution to overthrow Aliyev.
For his part, political analyst Narek Galstyan agreed that the Aliyev
regime is strong enough to suppress any revolution. `We can't say how
the Arab uprising can influence Armenia,' he said.
