"THE OTHER FRUNZIK": NEW FILM ABOUT THE GREAT ARTIST

"The Other Frunzik" is a new film where the USSR people's artist will
come forth in a quite another way. It is a different Frunzik. Here he
is different with his way of thinking, with his saying to the world
and people, and the most important - with peculiar approaches to the
preparation of the role.
The co-authors of the film Hovhannes Papikyan and Shushanik Sahakyan,
studying the huge archive materials, rare recording and interviews
given on different occasions, prepared first 40-minute documentary
film. Afterwards they included in it exclusive, recordings having
very deep sense, and the film became 65-minute long.
"It happens so that this film has been prepared as a result of
improvisations, it had different names, lengths, episodes," co-author
of the film Shushanik Sahakyan told Armenpress.
"The Other Frunzik" includes sketches that have remained off scene.
The co-authors say the film will soon be presented.
"The difficulties connected with the film were only
material. Many expectations were not justified, we experienced
various disappointments. The 80th anniversary of the artist was not
marked. We were very hurt with the fact that the national values are
again ignored and forgotten," she said
"The love and the inspiration were great as Mher Lazarian is the
actor, the implication of the work of who is great happiness,"
Sahakyan said.
Hovhannes Papikyan and Shushanik Sahakyan published book-calendar
on their own means dedicated to the 80th birthday anniversary of
the artist.
