    ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT ADJUSTS STATE BUDGET PROJECT FOR 2012

    The Armenian government has offered the income and expense parts of
    the state budget of 2012 to be raised by 1.6 billion drams, Finances
    Minister Vache Gabriyelyan said, ARKA reports.

    The final project will state income of 911.6 billion drams, expenses -
    1044.1 billion drams, deficit - 132.5 billion drams.

    Gabriyelyan explained that the government received some 500 proposals
    from commissions, franctions and deputies. He noted that fulfilling
    the income part of budget had proposals for 1.1 trillion drams,
    expenses - 415 billion drams.

    The minister said that additional income will come from socio-cultural
    and science spheres (about 241 billion drams), economic spheres (81
    billion drams), law enforcing (51 billion drams) foreign activities
    (3 billion drams).

    Gabriyelyan said that the government fully or partly approved 135
    proposals (27%), requested clarifications and discussions for 188
    (38%) of proposals.

    The minister ordered the state budget to be adjusted by 2012 and
    presented to the parliament according to the order.

    The Armenian government approved the state budget project for 2012
    on September 29 with income set at 910 billion drams, expenses -
    1042.5 billion drams, deficit - 132.5 billion drams.$1 - 381.80 drams.
