ARMENIA'S UNDER-19 FOOTBALL TEAM TO PLAY ELITE ROUND FOR EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

As a result of the draw for the Elite Round of the 11th UEFA European
Under-19 Championship 2011- 2012, Armenia's national team will play
in Group 7 against five-time European champion, Spain, as well as
Italy and Belgium. Naturally, it will be difficult for Armenia to
become this group's sole qualifier for the Championship.
During the qualifiers, the Armenian squad defeated Slovakia and
Andorra, but lost to Greece.
