Production of cognac and wine in Armenia increased in the first ten
months of 2011, production of other alcoholic drinks dropped, News
Armenia reports.
Armenia produced 11.2 million liters of cognac in January-October,
exceeding production in the same period in 2010 by 16.2%. Wine
production reached 4.5 million liters (+8.7%).
Beer production dropped by 4.8% to 13.3 million liters. Production
of liqueurs and vodka dropped by 24.4% to 6.1 million liters.
Production of lemonades, carbonated, energy and other alcohol-free
drinks reached 30.7 million liters (+5.3%).
