December 4, 2011 - 16:00 AMT
PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister pointed out the war, the
blockade, the earthquake and mass `brain drain' among the main reasons
for deteriorating economy in the country.
`With the ageing population problem and population polarization issue,
which resulted in elimination of the middle class, poverty growth in
the country reached 30%,' Tigran Sargsyan stated at the seminar on
export-oriented industrial development strategy.
In this context, the PM stressed the importance of forming economy
development policy to counter and minimize external shocks. `Creation
of opportunities in education sphere to develop intellectual potential
is essential in formation of Armenia's economic model,' Sargsyan said.
