to hold the meetings of the Azerbaijani and Armenian communities of
Nagorno Karabakh is praiseworthy.
But it causes regret that Armenians reject these meetings under various
pretexts. This fact shows that Armenia does not want to give up its
aggressive policy," chairman of the Public Union "The Azerbaijani
community of Nagorno Karabakh region of Azerbaijan Republic" Bayram
Safarov said in his interview to the website of the New Azerbaijan
Party (YAP), APA reports.
Bayram Safarov said Karabakh is the historical land of Azerbaijan
and it is the right of the Azerbaijanis to live in this land. He said
despite Armenians' attempts, Azerbaijan will restore its territorial
integrity.
"The aim of the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian communities of
Nagorno Karabakh is to discuss the ways of coexistence in the future.
If Armenians reject this meeting, they have nothing to say. Armenians
killed civilians in this land, maybe they do not know what to say.
Remembering all that happened, one can say that they do not dare attend
these meetings. Anyway, we will return to our lands. The Armenians,
who will acquire Azerbaijani citizenship, obey the law of this country,
can also live in Karabakh," he said.
