This is a great win to the Republican Party. We place a high value on
full membership of RPA to EPP (European People's Party), MP Karine
Achemyan told a Panorama.am reporter, commenting upon the granting
of the status of observer in EPP to RPA.
According to the parliamentarian, on the path to Europe, RPA's
membership is a new platform for raising issues of importance to
Armenia.
"EPP attaches importance to cooperation with the Republican Party.
Members of EPP had confirmed this earlier in Armenia, during their
meetings with the RPA Women's Council and RPA youth organization,"
Achemyan said.
She noted that EPP's decision is evidence that RPA moves in the
right direction.
