Ogun Samast, the murderer of Hrant Dink, chief editor of Istanbul's
Agos Armenian weekly, was severely beaten in prison.
Arrested members of the Marxist-Leninist idea bearing Revolutionary
People`s Liberation Party-Front (DHKP/C) brutally beat Ogun Samast
while he was walking in the prison corridor. The prison guards were
able to save Samast alive and they took him to the prison's medical
facility, Turkish Opsiyonhaber website reported.
To note, Ogun Samast was sentenced to a total of 22 years and 10
months for the murder of Hrant Dink and for bearing illegal arms.
