PRESIDENT OF LEBANON WISHES ARMENIA FIND ITS PERFECT INTEGRITY

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman and his spouse Wafaa Suleiman, who
paid an official visit to Armenia, visited December 9 Tsitsernakaberd
Memorial and paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the 1915
Armenian Genocide. Accompanied by the Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandian and Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, the Lebanese
President put a wreath at the memorial and commemorated the victims at
the Eternal Fire.
Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan
presented to the guest the history of the greatest crime again
humanity in the beginning of the 20th century.
Michel Sleiman put a note at the Commemoration Book of the museum. He
wished the Armenian people to build a state their sons fought for and
wished Armenia find its perfect integrity, sovereignty, stability and
development.
The Lebanese President also planted a symbolizing tree at the Memory
Alley. Hayk Demoyan handed to the top guest a Gold Medal.
Lebanon is the only Arab state that has officially recognized the
Armenian Genocide.
