Rumors about impending resignation of Chief of Armenia's National
Security Service Gorik Hakobyan are "circulating within the ruling
circles" again.
The newspaper's sources report President Serzh Sargsyan is discussing
the possibility of Hakobyan's resignation.
Experts say the presidential residence is apprehensive that, because
of his age and state of health, Gorik Hakobyan will not be able to
adequately respond to the situation at a crucial moment.
Arzuman Harutyunyan, brother of Chairman of Armenia's Constitutional
Court Gagik Harutyunyan, is a likely candidate for the post.
