SLEIMAN CALLS FOR IMPLEMENTING NATIONAL DIALOGUE DECISIONS

    NOW LEBANON
    Dec 9 2011

President Michel Sleiman said on Thursday that "it is important to
work on implementing the agreements reached in [past] national dialogue
sessions and resort to legal institutions to resolve all [problems]."

On the first day of his visit to Armenia, Sleiman said that he aims
to reinforce bilateral relations through a series of cooperation
    agreements.

The National News Agency also quoted him as saying that "Lebanon's
[defense] capacities must be reinforced and united in the face of
    any aggression."

Sleiman also brought up developments in Arab countries, voicing hope
that they lead to reform, democracy and modernization.

2010. So far, the Tunisian, Egyptian, Libyan and Yemeni regimes have
fallen, while Bahrain and Syria have experienced massive civil unrest.
