Lebanese President leaves, expresses his thanks for warm welcome
A farewell ceremony for President of Lebanon Michel Suleiman took
place at the Presidential Palace in Yerevan today, according to
President's press office.
The Armenian and Lebanese Presidents summed up the visit in a brief
private talk before the farewell ceremony.
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan expressed the hope that he will meet
with the President of Lebanon again in the near future, which would
give all concerned sides an impetus to constantly strengthen the
Armenian-Lebanese warm relations.
Lebanese President Michel Suleiman expressed his thanks for the warm
welcome and noted that Lebanon will be consistent in carrying out the
agreements reached during his visit. The Lebanese President also gave
his assurance that his official visit to Armenia will boost
Armenian-Lebanese ties.
