A Turkish minister has criticized the Armenian president's remarks that
Turks will one day "bow their heads" over the killings of Armenians
in 1915.
Turkey's EU minister Egemen Bagis said in response to the remarks of
the Armenian president in Marseille that no one had the courage to
make Turks bow down.
He said that Serzh Sargsyan had gone beyond the limits in his comments.
~SNobody shall doubt; we know how to bring down any negative act
against this nation,~T Bagis said at a meeting of the Justice and
Development Party (AKP) in Istanbul yesterday.
Bagis said that the Armenian people did not remain strong because
of poverty and hunger, adding that the population of Armenia had
fallen from four million to two million as Armenians migrated to
other countries.
He noted that Armenians even worked in Turkey which showed the
sincerity of Turks.
