PRESIDENT SARGSYAN MEETS THE CHAIRMAN OF THE ITALIAN CHAMBER OF DEPUTIES

Within the framework of the visit to Italy, President Serzh Sargsyan
had a meeting with the Chairman of the Italian Chamber of Deputies,
Gianfranco Fini.
The parties attached importance to the reinforcement of parliamentary
ties and development of economic and cultural relations. According
to them, the friendship between the two peoples and countries rooted
on firm historical-cultural ties can serve as a good ground for the
further deepening and development of bilateral relations.
President Serzh Sargsyan met also with the Vice-President of the OSCE
Parliamentary Assembly, Head of the Italian Delegation at the OSCE
Ricardo Miliori.
The interlocutors emphasized the importance of periodic meetings and
discussions, which contribute to the deepening of cooperation between
Armenia and the OSCE, as well as the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and
the National Assembly of Armenia.
