ARMENIAN PRESIDENT INVITES ITALIAN COMPANIES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIAN NPP

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan who is on a
working visit to Italy invited Italian companies to participate in the
programs implemented in Armenia including the construction of the NPP,
during his meeting with his Italian counterpart Giorgio Napolitano.
>From a perspective of development of economic relations, the leaders
of the two countries stressed the importance of frequent interaction
of the businessmen and holding of business conferences which have
already been agreed on by the Armenian and Italian Foreign Ministers,
Mediamax was informed in the Armenian presidential press service.
President Napolitano expressed the hope that Serzh Sargsyan's meeting
with the representatives of business circles of Italy will give an
impetus to attracting Italian investments to the Armenian economy.
Serzh Sargsyan and Giorgio Napolitano also discussed Armenia-EU
cooperation, regional issues including the negotiation process on
settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
