ZIYAFAT ASGAROV: "THIS STEP BY THE FRENCH PARLIAMENT CAN EFFECT THE AZERBAIJAN-FRANCE RELATIONS TOO"

"The discussion of law considering criminal responsibility for
rejection of the fictitious "Armenian genocide" claims at the
parliament is a big offence against the French democracy"

Baku. Parvin Abbasov - APA. The inclusion of the law considering
the criminal responsibility for the rejection of the fictitious
"Armenian genocide" claims to parliament's agenda and its discussion
at the parliament is a big offence against the French democracy,
because every person has own style and freedom of thought. How they
can force the people to accept the "Armenian genocide" claims? How
they can initiate criminal proceeding against the people who reject
these fictitious claims?" First Deputy Speaker of the Azerbaijani
Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov told journalists, APA reports.

He assessed the discussion of such an issue by the French parliament
as an absurd case: "I consider that this step doesn't promise any good
prospect for the Turkey-France relations, because it is a pressure
against Turkey. The misfortune of Armenians is that they are used
in such issues. As Armenians are suitable for one-shot usage, they
are always used in such cases. They can't find a way out from this
situation, because, in substance, they are such nation. Exerting
pressure against Turkey using such situation is incompatible with any
ethic and international norm. That's why I strongly condemn this case.

I consider that this step by the French parliament can effect the
    Azerbaijan-France relations in a sense".
