YEREVAN. - The university lecturers are busy with eating trotter,
and specialists are not prepared, Interstanok Engineering Company
President Vilik Dolukhanyan stated during the extended session of
the Armenian Union of National Goods Producers, to which PM Tigran
Sargsyan also attended.
According to the businessman, Armenian plants need engineers, whereas
the current university diploma works consist of mechanism plans dating
back to 1948.
To note, Interstanok Engineering Company supplies the majority of the
turbines for the small hydro power plants being built in Armenia. And
PM Sargsyan asked Vilik Dolukhanyan about the competitiveness of these
turbines in comparison with Chinese or Czech products. Dolukhanyan
informed, in this regard, that, except for their external look,
the Armenian turbines surpass the similar foreign products in all
other criteria.
