APPROVAL OF THE BILL BY FRENCH NA REAFFIRMS THAT CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY DO NOT HAVE EXPIRATION DATE

"With the adoption of the bill criminalizing the denial of the
Armenian Genocide the National Assembly of France reconfirmed its
being the cradle of human rights and once again proved its commitment
to all-human values," the statement of the Foreign Minister of Armenia
Edward Nalbandian relating to the adoption of the bill criminalizing
the denial of the Armenian Genocide runs.
"I would like to once again thank the highest leadership of France,
the National Assembly and people of France. Still ten years ago by
recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide people of France
showed that human rights are highest values, and today adopting
this bill, they reaffirmed that the crimes against humanity do not
have expiration date and their denial will be condemned," Minister
Nalbandian said.
