U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan hopes Senate will make right decision on
his candidacy

U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza hopes that the Senate will
make a right decision on his candidacy for ambassador to Azerbaijan.
"It is very difficult to people in the U.S. to understand the
situation here. I hope that those who oppose my candidacy will analyze
the situation and take an unbiased decision," Bryza said on Thursday.
He said he has always been unbiased towards Armenia and Azerbaijan
when he served as the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair, and therefore he
cannot understand why the Armenians are against his appointment as
ambassador to Azerbaijan.
In late December, Bryza will end his mission in Azerbaijan.
The Armenian lobby in the United States is against Bryza's candidacy
for ambassador to Azerbaijan.
