YEREVAN MAYOR RECEIVES INDIAN AMBASSADOR TO ARMENIA

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 11, ARMENPRESS: Issues over expansion of cooperation
between Yerevan and India were discussed at today~Rs meeting of
Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan and Indian Ambassador to Armenia Achal
Kumar Malhotra. Press service of Yerevan Municipality told Armenpress
that bilateral importance was attached to development of tourism,
investment and healthcare system.
Achal Kumar Malhotra expressed readiness to find cooperation verges in
the spheres of bilateral interest. Attaching importance to experience
exchange in the spheres of development of infrastructures, Karen
Karapetyan noted that the Municipality is ready to assist in all the
proposals and initiatives concerning the development of the capital.
Taking into consideration the circumstance that there are numerous
streets in Yerevan, the Indian ambassador proposed to have an Indian
street in the capital as well. Karen Karapetyan assured that the
municipality will respond to the proposal.
