mention the massacres of Armenians in Adana, preceding the Armenian
Genocide in 1915.
Former Turkish parliamentarian Uluc Gurkan also participated in the
conference. He accused Turkish authorities of soft position on Armenian
issue, stressing Turkey is a target of illegal and racist attacks,
Yeni Adana website reports
"What did Turkey do? Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's
statement "We will set up a joint subcommittee of historians, open
archives and let historians' study them," will soon turn out into
"Let's apologize and the issue will be closed," Gurkan noted. He
tried to explain why the Armenian Genocide was not a genocide,
