HIS HOLINESS ARAM I EXPRESSES HIS CONDOLENCE
TO POPE SHENOUDA III OF THE COPTIC ORTHODOX CHURCH
In a letter to Pope Shenouda III, His Holiness Aram I strongly condemned the
killing of innocents as they prayed to celebrate New Year. He hoped that
Christians and Muslims continue living together and respecting each others'
faith as they did in the past centuries.
In the end of his letter, Catholicos Aram I expressed his solidarity with
the sister Coptic Orthodox Church and said that he will be praying for the
victims of the terrorist act and their families.
