POPULAR PARTY READY TO JOIN ARMENIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS

Tigran Karapetyan, Chairman of the Popular Party of Armenia, does not
rule out the party joining the opposition Armenian National Congress
(ANC). However, his party will never join the Armenian National
Movement (ANM). Karapetyan told NEWS.am.
"If they do not make concession to us until February 28, we will
announce early elections and say `no` to the authorities. We will hold
a congress before, and political actions after that. We will set up
a political committee, consolidate the political arena and start our
struggle," Karapetyan said.
As to the political forces ready to support his party, Karapetyan said:
"Yes, there are such forces, but let they remain unnamed."
