Medvedev sent his view of Karabakh to Armenian President

    July 01, 2011 | 18:55

The Karabakh conflict has no other solution but the right for
self-determination, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said at joint
press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovich.

`People of Nagorno-Karabakh are bearers of internationally recognized
right to self-determination. This right should be fully implemented,'
    he said.

President Sargsyan said that during his talks with Ukrainian
counterpart the sides pointed out key role of the OSCE Minsk Group in
    the Karabakh peace process.

Unsuccessful talks in Kazan are not indicative of end of the peace
    process on the whole.

`At least one chance was missed. We have lost the chance before the
    new meeting,' he added.

Armenian President stressed that Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev and
OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs reiterated their intention to continue
efforts into the Karabakh conflict settlement, Telegraf.by reports.

`During a phone conversation Russian President Medvedev informed me he
had sent his views of the problem in written form. I think we will
soon receive it to see how to move forward,' Sargsyan concluded.
