Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi film "Nader and Simin. A separation"
will participate in Golden Apricot 8th International Film Festival.
The film was awarded an Honorary Golden Bear at the 61st Berlin
International Film Festival. It was awarded Silver Bear by The
International Committee of Berlin IFF for best actress and best
actor nominations.
The Iranian drama reveals a marriage in crisis and the class struggle
in Iran between middle class intellectuals and poorer Iranians for
whom religion and honor is more important. It is the first Iranian
winner of the Berlinale prize.
Golden Apricot 8th International Film Festival will be held on 10-17
July in Yerevan, Golden Apricot's press center reports, again with
the help of the true partners: the Ministry of Culture as a state
support and VivaCell-MTS as the general sponsor.
