Project on tower construction in governmental building courtyard to be
discussed tomorrow

Chief Architect of Yerevan Narek Sargsian presents the urban
development justification for the tower construction
Yerevan/Mediamax/. Subcommittee of the Public Council on Urban
Development and Architecture and Subcommittee on Culture, together
with the Union of Architects of Armenia will hold a public discussion
on the expediency of building a tower in the courtyard of the
country's government building.
The discussion will take place in the grand hall of the Union of
Architects of Armenia at 17 Marshal Baghramyan Avenue. Entrance is
free.
Mediamax recalls that on June 17 the majority of Yerevan Urban
Development Council's members supported construction of the tower
according to Alexander Tamanyan's project in the courtyard of the
government building.
Answering the question of Mediamax, member of `Let's Preserve Republic
Square' civil initiative, Architect Sarat Petrosyan said that
according to the information he has, an invitation to participate in
public hearings has also been sent to the Mayor of Yerevan Karen
Karapetyan and the Chief Architect of the capital city Narek Sargsian.
