'Azerbaijan's FM was informed about the visit of The Washington Post's
correspondent to occupied Nagorno Karabakh region and did not object
to visit'.
The statement came from spokesman for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry
Elkhan Polukhov.
He expressed his hope that The Washington Post will remain committed
to its unbiased image and also cover Azerbaijan's position concerning
Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict.
Elkhan Polukhov said Azerbaijan is ready to cooperate with any media
outlet covering the conflict-related issues objectively, by providing
the positions of both sides.
Moscow correspondent of The Washington Post Will Englund had visited
Nagorno Karabakh and wrote an article covering Armenians' position
concerning the conflict.
