'Azerbaijan's FM was informed about the visit of The Washington Post's
correspondent to occupied Nagorno Karabakh region and did not object
    to visit'.

The statement came from spokesman for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry
    Elkhan Polukhov.

He expressed his hope that The Washington Post will remain committed
to its unbiased image and also cover Azerbaijan's position concerning
    Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict.

Elkhan Polukhov said Azerbaijan is ready to cooperate with any media
outlet covering the conflict-related issues objectively, by providing
    the positions of both sides.

Moscow correspondent of The Washington Post Will Englund had visited
Nagorno Karabakh and wrote an article covering Armenians' position
    concerning the conflict.
