E. SHARMAZANOV: AZERBAIJAN MISSED THE INDEPENDENT STATE EXISTING FOR 20 YEARS

"The party times of the Soviet Union passed, when wrong decisions were
made by a stroke of a pen. The oil dollars have blinded the Azerbaijani
authorities and they've missed the fact that it's almost 20 years
an independent state has been founded nearby," Edward Sharmazanov,
Republican spokesman and MP told Panorama.am making his remarks
over Azerbaijan's Ilham Aliyev's statement claiming it impossible to
discuss any item over the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh.
"The world knows Armenians are a peace-loving nation, but those who
will measure swords with us, will die."
