TICKETS FOR ARMENIA TRAIN AVAILABLE ALSO IN NAGORNO-KARABAKH REPUBLIC

YEREVAN, July 14. /ARKA/. Tickets for the South Caucasus Railways'
summer train Armenia, which runs from Yerevan to Batumi and back
every day, can be bough also in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic now, the
company's press office reported on Thursday.
These tickets are available in the company's newly opened office in
Stepanakert, capital of the republic. The office's address is Tumanyan
Street, 95. Phones: 97 20 20 and 097 22 88 68. The office is open
from 9:00 to 19:00 on working days and from 9:00 to 14:00 on Saturday.
The company's press service says Karabakh's residents have already
expressed interest in these tickets.
Some 1,000 tickets have been allocated for selling in Nagorno-Karabakh
Republic, but the company can increase this number, if necessary.
South Caucasus Railways, a 100-percent subsidiary of Russian Railways,
runs Armenian Railway.
Armenian Railways was handed over to the South Caucasus Railways on
February 13, 2008 for 30-year concession management with a right to
prolong the management term for other 10 years.
