UN TOUCHED UPON ARMENIANS' REAL ESTATE RIGHTS RESTORATION IN WESTERN ARMENIA

GENEVA. - It is necessary to launch the process of restoration of
the real estate, which belonged to Armenians in Western Armenia and
was under Turkey's control, Assembly chairman of Armenians of Western
Armenia Armenak Abramyan told at the Palace of Nations in Geneva.
"It is high time we started to restore rights of real estate
that belonged to Western Armenians. These are 2538 churches, 451
monasteries, 1996 schools, 29 lyceums, and 42 orphanages," Yerkramas
newspaper cites Abramyan.
