YEREVAN.- Armenian singer and famous avant-garde folk artist Arto
Tuncboyaciyan got Grammy 2011 award for Best New Age Album.
He got prize for "Miho: Journey to the Mountain" album together with
Paul Winter, Tuncboyaciyan told journalists in Yerevan on Friday.
The musician said that album was recorded in Japan with poor technical
equipment and using background noise.
Arto Tuncboyaciyan appeared on over 200 records in Europe and then
moved to U.S. where he worked with jazz legends. He is a front man
of his own Armenian Navy band group.
