Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian signed a decree to award
Professor/Doctor Muhammad Rifat Al-Iman, a famous Egyptian historian,
expert of Armenian and Genocide studies, with the medal of Armenian
Foreign Ministry for his contribution to represent Armenian culture
and history in the Arab World.
Press office of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reports the ceremony
was held on July 17 in Armenian Embassy to Egypt. Renowned Egyptian
intellectuals, scientists, professors, diplomats, journalists,
students and Egyptian Armenians were present at the ceremony.
Armenian Ambassador to Egypt Armen Melkonyan handed the medal.
