ABA HONORS CURRENT, FORMER ANCA-WR BOARD MEMBERS AS "RISING STAR" ATTORNEYS
GLENDALE, CA---The Armenian National Committee of America-Western
Region (ANCA-WR) welcomed the Armenian Bar Association's (ABA)
inclusion of current ANCA-WR Board Member Raffi Kassabian and former
ANCA-WR Board Member Armen Martin in its "20 Rising Stars Under 40"
honorees. Martin and Kassabian will join the other honorees, selected
from throughout the United States and Canada, for a special event
marking the occasion hosted by the ABA on July 28th in Pasadena,
California.
"The ANCA-WR draws its strength from its grassroots leadership and we
are proud that the ABA has chosen to honor Armen Martin and Raffi
Kassabian," said Andrew Kzirian, Chairman of the ANCA-WR Board of
Directors.
Armen Martin is an attorney with the firm Liner Grode et al. LLP who,
in addition to having previously served on the ANCA-WR Board of
Directors, was a founding member of the Armenian National Committee of
America's Professional Network, a group dedicated to bringing together
and promoting civic engagement among young professionals.
Raffi Kassabian is an attorney at the firm Reed Smith LLP. He
currently serves on the ANCA-WR Board of Directors and has served on
the ANCA Professional Network Committee and has served as the Chair of
the ANCA-WR's California State Affairs Committee.
The Armenian National Committee of America-Western Region is the
largest and most influential Armenian American grassroots advocacy
organization in the Western United States. Working in coordination
with a network of offices, chapters, and supporters throughout the
Western United States and affiliated organizations around the country,
the ANCA-WR advances the concerns of the Armenian American community
on a broad range of issues.
