YEREVAN. - Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan received on
Friday 21 young people from Armenian Diaspora who currently do their
summer internships in Armenia in the framework of AGBU program.
The Minister stressed that the Diaspora youth, as an integral part
of Armenian society, can contribute to their homeland with their
knowledge. Reflecting on the importance of army-society ties, he
stressed that the MOD attaches great importance to public relations.
"We always say that once people and army unite, they become
invincible," he added.
Prior to meeting with Ohanyan, the students visited Nagorno-Karabakh,
met with soldiers and local residents and made sightseeing tours.
