Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva has made remarks about the Karabakh
conflict for Turkish journalists who are on visit to Azerbaijan.
Reporters from Milliyet, Hurriyet, Zaman, Today's Zaman, Radikal and
Haberturk tripped to Azerbaijan at Pashayeva's invitation.
The parliamentarian told Turkish journalists about the history of the
Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the negotiating
process on peaceful settlement of the issue mediated by the OSCE
Minsk Group.
Armenian leadership has demonstrated non-constructive position which
hiders the conflict resolution over the years, the MP added.
The MP made remarks at a briefing held in Agdam village of Tovuz
District bordering with Armenia.
Despite the four resolutions adopted by the UN Security Council,
as well as resolutions and decisions of other international
organizations, official Yerevan continues to ignore rules and
principles of international law, keeping 20 percent of Azerbaijani
territory under occupation uprooting about one million Azerbaijani
refugees and displaced persons from their homes, the MP stated.
