AMIN GEMAYEL, THE FORMER PRESIDENT OF LEBANON, VISITS HIS HOLINESS ARAM I
On Monday 19 July 2011, Amin Gemayel visited His Holiness Aram I at his
summer residence in Bikfaya. The former president had come to consult with
His Holiness on the current situation in the region and in Lebanon. They
also discussed issues regarding Christian communities in the Middle East.
Speaking about Lebanon, His Holiness said that the Christian political
leaders in Lebanon must remain united and be prepared to face the changes in
the region.
