Norwegian authorities pulling bodies of victims from the river
YEREVAN (ARF Press Service)-The Armenian Youth Federation, the
Youth Organization of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation issued a
statement Saturday in the aftermath of the rampage in Norway on Friday.
Below is the text of the statement:
The Armenian Youth Federation (Youth Organization of the
ARF-Dashnaktsutyun), strongly condemns the acts of terror carried
out in Norway, and especially the shootings at the summer camp of
the Labor Youth (AUF, the youth organization of the Norwegian Labor
Party), which claimed the lives of tens of youth and youngsters.
There is no way to explain this inhuman act.
Having been victims of state and non-state terrorism throughout our
history, we deeply appreciate the agony and pain such barbaric acts
cause to society.
The Armenian Youth Federation expresses its sincere condolences to
the families of the victims and to the members and leadership of its
socialist organization, the Labor Youth of the Norwegian Labor Party.
Within the circles of the International Union of Socialist Youth we
have worked and cooperated with the Labor Youth of the Norwegian
Labor Party and have always witnessed their belief and commitment
towards human values.
God bless the souls of the victims and give solace to the survivors.
